Hello everyone, I have a question I’d like to ask. A 22-inch (outer diameter 559 mm) pipe needs to be connected, and the pressure is not high; therefore, the NP16 series of PL flanges are suitable. But how should the size of the flange be determined? The standards only include PL500 and PL600. Need help, thank you
This pipe is not recommended for use with SH 3405; if it is used, you need to employ the corresponding flange standard SH 3406
If the pipe cannot be modified and flange connection is truly necessary, then a flange should be used; a DN600 flange should be chosen, with all other parameters remaining unchanged. The only change is that the inner diameter becomes 559 + 4, which is 563
