Current vertical spring supports, whether those meeting industry standards in the chemical sector or those in the energy sector, are designed to be quite tall. A commonly used variable-force spring is about 500 mm tall, while a constant-force spring is taller, at around 1000 mm. So it is very difficult to use, with few applicable scenarios, which results in hangers being used more often. But in many scenarios, it is also very difficult to install the hangers. The spring frame of the supporting equipment can only be supported from below using a vertical bracket, and it’s troublesome when the height is too great. It would be great to have a vertical spring bracket with a flat shape. For springs with a small vertical displacement, within 30 mm, it is possible to achieve a spring height of around 150 mm, which greatly facilitates usage.
Spring brackets with a height of only 150 mm are very convenient for use with pipes in utility tunnels. With the current shape of spring hangers, only hangers can be used, and additional steel structures are required to support them, which is very troublesome.
