There are currently several types of valves such as J41H-16C1, J41H-16C2, and Q41F-16CS. We already know what each of these names refers to; it’s just that the numbers 1, 2, and S at the end are unclear. According to national standards, the last part of such designations indicates the material of the valve body – in the case of carbon steel, it should simply be labeled as “C”. Therefore, I would like to ask whether C1 and C2 refer to martensitic material, and whether CS means carbon steel with a plastic lining
The national standard ends at C, but some design institutes have additional regulations; for example, B refers to carbon steel, yet some specify that B1 is equivalent to 20#, and B2 is equivalent to Q235, and so on
This is a material list for pipeline integration prepared by the design institute, so I’m a bit confused about the naming
Generally, it’s either not in accordance with national standards or it’s a requirement set by the design institute itself; just have them improve the homepage layout and you’ll understand
Okay, thank you. I just checked the valve specification documents issued by Luoyang Design Institute; the number in Section 8 indicates the material of the valve core

This is not the numbering system used by Luoyang Institute, even though it mentions “Part 8”~~~ An example of a numbering format used by Luoyang Institute is: Z3a6R-H101~~~ The numbers 1 and 2 following the letter C might represent some convention established by a particular design institute regarding the material of the valve core, or they could denote something else~~~ It’s best to check the instructions provided by that design institute.
This is just the design institute’s logo; the specific meaning is known only to the design institute
C1 corresponds to the material forging A105, while C2 corresponds to the material WCB. Generally, WCB is used for sizes of DN50 and above, whereas A105 can be used for smaller sizes
