Since May 2021, the PIGPROX electromagnetic eddy current pipeline inspection robot has been used to conduct inspection tasks in oil and gas transmission pipelines with diameters of Φ159, Φ168, Φ219, Φ273, Φ323, and Φ406 in various oil and gas fields. It has been used with both standard sending cylinders as well as non-standard ones and sending valves, and it has overcome the complex challenges associated with inspecting such pipelines. This demonstrates the excellent suitability of the PIGPROX electromagnetic eddy current pipeline inspection robot, which features independent intellectual property rights in China, for inspection work in oil and gas transmission pipelines of different diameters, under varying pressures, in conditions of low pressure and low flow rates, with many bends, multi-phase media, and complex internal structures.
