I have a blind flange in the middle of the pipeline, and I plan to insulate it. Is that feasible? After insulating it, the blind flange will no longer be visible, and it may not be easy to find it next time. Are there any regulatory requirements regarding this? ! ! Thank you.

Hehe, it seems like the poster intends to create a pit here – just be careful, as over time anyone could end up falling into it. We have an isolation valve here that won’t close; the process team has asked us to help figure out what’s wrong. We’ve used large pipe wrenches and leverage devices, but we still can’t move it. A group of people concluded that the valve was broken and stuck; there was no other option, so they had to replace it with a new one. Issuing invoices, activating bypasses, performing isolation, pressure relief, and replacement – all that hustle and bustle, and then upon removing the insulation, it was found that an isolation lock, shining with a golden light, was locked on the valve. . . . . .
Our factory keeps a record of the blind plates, assigning them numbers and indicating their locations so that they can be found easily next time.
It seems there are no regulatory requirements; it can be marked with a sign.
