The safety assessment for China’s first long-distance pure hydrogen pipeline has passed approval! Recently, the \"Safety Assessment of the Hydrogen Pipeline Project from Ulanqab City in Inner Mongolia to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region,\" carried out by Shigong Jian Petroleum Engineering Design Company, successfully passed the comprehensive review organized by Xinxing Company. This marks a key breakthrough in the safety design of China’s first large-scale, long-distance pure hydrogen pipeline that crosses multiple provinces and municipalities. The total length of this project is approximately 1,132 kilometers, with a design pressure of 6.3 megapascals. The initial hydrogen delivery capacity will be 100,000 tons per year, with plans to increase this figure to 500,000 tons per year in the long term. Once the pipelines are in place, green hydrogen will be supplied on a steady basis to key areas and enterprises such as the **New Area, Shijiazhuang Refining & Chemical Complex, Tianjin Petrochemical Corporation, and Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation.
