In the Beihua Jimei polar moment electrolyzer, there is a white precipitate attached to the inner wall of the anode outlet hose in one of the cells; this phenomenon does not occur in the other cells. The cell voltage in that cell is 0.3 V higher than that of the other cells. What is this white substance?
Is it the white titanium salt precipitation caused by alkali corrosion of titanium materials? Measure the pH of the brine exiting the tank as well as other parameters for comparison; check for alkali and salts, hydrogen in chlorine content, and monitor the tank voltage – a leak is suspected
It could be crystals that have seeped in from the cathode alkali; over time, these crystals corroded the titanium mesh coating, resulting in an increase in cell voltage. It is recommended to stop the vehicle immediately, open the slot frame, and conduct an inspection.
It has been stopped for maintenance; the pole grid is corroded.
