Currently, lithium ions in brine have high value, and much of it is imported from South America. There are many domestic manufacturers with technologies for lithium extraction from brine.
Chelating resins are primarily used to remove divalent metal ions; they have little effect on monovalent lithium ions. Even if the concentration drops to 0.2% after the pre-treatment step, there is still 200 PPM of it before it reaches the resin column. So it should not be acceptable

Lithium ions have a very small ionic radius, and this may affect the migration of sodium ions through the membrane during the electrolysis process; it is therefore best to separate and remove these lithium ions, as the recovered lithium ions are of high value. The lithium ion concentration shown has reached 2 g/L, which is quite high; it is feasible to recover it using sodium carbonate precipitation.
If there is a large amount of sodium chloride present, it would be best to be able to recover all that lithium; we have the relevant technologies, and we welcome discussions on this topic. qq371123827
