Can the water content in wet chlorine gas be calculated at low pressure (16 KPa gauge pressure) using Dalton’s law of partial pressures?
An estimation can be made, but due to the reaction between chlorine and water, I personally think it is better to use on-line analyzers for measuring the amount of water in chlorine. Nowadays, tuned laser detection is commonly used, and domestic companies such as Focus Technology are very good at this area.
