Can a pipe reactor be used to produce sodium hypochlorite from chlorine to increase the reaction rate?
A tower-type continuous reactor can be used to accelerate the reaction and heat exchange, enabling full automatic control via PLC.
So far, I haven’t heard of tubular reactors being used for the production of sodium hypochlorite; the original poster could conduct some research and experiments. If it can be successfully applied in actual industrial processes, that would be a significant achievement.
Thank you. Tubular reactors are suitable for the initial reaction of sodium hypochlorite, but not for the later stages. Moreover, the production process for this product is relatively simple, the reaction speed is fast, and there isn’t much in-depth research on it.
