Experts, the chlorinated paraffin production facility in our unit has been in operation for only a short time, and we lack experience. We encountered a situation where one of the chlorination reactors started leaking; failing to address this issue promptly was not the best approach. Could you advise on how to detect leaks in the chlorinated paraffin reactors in a timely manner, as well as the proper procedures to follow once a leak occurs?
Check the exhaust gas, the condensate return stream, or the exhaust pipe walls for any water droplets. Is chlorinated paraffin still produced in batch reactors? It’s way too outdated, right?
