I would like to ask my colleagues: which chlor-alkali plant in China has implemented an SIS system for its chlor-alkali electrolyzer systems? According to Order No. 3116 issued by the General Administration of Work Safety, independent safety instrument systems (SIS) are required for two key types of facilities and one major project. Currently, such systems are being installed in liquid chlorine handling systems in China; the electrolysis process should also fall under this category. Manufacturers that have not yet implemented such systems are encouraged to share their experiences.
