Does sodium carbonate corrode nickel?

If corrosion occurs, what is the principle behind it? Seek advice from those who are more experienced! # + + .
Nickel is resistant to alkalis; I use nickel crucibles when performing high-temperature alkaline fusion of samples in my analyses.
Sodium carbonate does not cause corrosion, as its alkalinity is much lower than that of caustic soda
