Dear colleagues, today we encountered a situation where, in a screw-type refrigeration compressor using membrane-based denitrification, the discharge pressure is low and the motor current fails to rise. What could be the reason?
Low suction and discharge pressures are usually caused by the following reasons: 1. Insufficient refrigerant charge in the system. 2. Leakage in the compressor suction valve or other components. 3. There is a blockage in the system, which hinders the flow of refrigerant. 4. Equipment aging or improper maintenance leads to decreased efficiency. 5. Control system failures, such as damaged pressure sensors or temperature sensors, lead to incorrect adjustments in compressor operation. It is recommended to check the amount of refrigerant in the system, verify for leaks on the suction and discharge sides, and ensure that the sensors and control system are functioning properly. If necessary, system cleaning and maintenance can be performed. .
It is recommended to check whether the suction pressure is also low. If it isn’t, then investigate potential mechanical and sealing issues; in terms of mechanics, the main problem lies in the clearance between gears.
It’s a common fault; just check the various filters, the inlet mechanical valves, and the energy ratio valve – the problem is likely to be in one of these components
Is the exhaust temperature low as well? 1. Consider whether there is a problem with the decreased heat exchange efficiency of the evaporator. 2. Check if the amount of refrigerant is at a reasonable level. 3. Since the weather is cold, the circulation water volume should be reduced; turn down the circulation water valve, and the discharge pressure will naturally rise
