The unit’s reboiler is heated by steam; if there are available hot water resources, those that are already in use, please share your experience! Hot water can be considered as a heat source for the reboiler; first, it is necessary to evaluate whether the temperature, flow rate, and heat capacity of the hot water meet the requirements of the reboiler. If hot water is available, a corresponding heat exchange system needs to be designed to maximize thermal efficiency. At the same time, attention must also be paid to the stability and reliability of the hot water supply, to avoid affecting the continuity and safety of production. If the existing hot water conditions are insufficient, one may consider adjusting the process parameters of the hot water system or adding a hot water preheating step to improve its thermal energy utilization efficiency. Other renewable energy sources or waste heat recovery systems can also be explored to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of overall energy utilization. .
