Testing for by-products is a task for the laboratory. If the levels are too high, you can take a sample of the desulfurization liquid; the crystals that appear when it’s poured onto the ground are the by-products!

This should be easy to test. Basically, it’s about determining the contents of sodium thiocyanate and sodium thiosulfate; the laboratory will handle that. It’s very simple
