1. The Leblanc process for producing soda ash: Humans have been using alkali in their daily lives for thousands of years; initially, it was obtained from plant ash and natural soda； The artificial soda ash industry originated in France, while its development and application are attributed to the United Kingdom. Leblanc process: Using common table salt as a raw material, it is treated with sulfuric acid to produce mirabilite and hydrochloric acid. The mirabilite is then mixed with limestone and coal powder and calcined in a furnace to produce soda ash. The resulting calcium sulfide is carbonated to obtain hydrogen sulfide, which serves as a raw material for sulfuric acid.
