　　Recently, ten departments including the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a joint announcement, adding five chemicals – 3-chloropropyne, 2-iodobenzoic acid, p-nitrobenzyl 2-diazoacetoate, methanesulfonyl azide, and 2-nitro-3-methylbenzoic acid – to the \"Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2015 edition)\". 　　It is reported that with the rapid economic and social development, many new chemicals have emerged; some of them pose relatively high risks, making it urgent to strengthen their management. The Ministry of Emergency Management conducted a thorough study of the above five chemicals, taking into account factors such as their hazardous properties, safety risks associated with their production, storage, and transportation, as well as their production and use patterns domestically and internationally, and proposed that these chemicals be included in the \"Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals\" for regulation.
