Emergency response to electric shock: I. Disconnect from the power source. The first step is to get the victim away from the power source: immediately turn off the power switch or unplug the power cord. If it’s not possible to locate or disconnect the power source promptly, an insulating object such as a dry bamboo pole or wooden stick can be used to separate the wires； Do not pull the injured person directly; the power supply must be cut off first. Precautions: 1. Ensure that there are no live electrical components near the injured person; a distance of 20 meters is recommended. 2. Never use wet tools or metal objects to separate the wires. 3. Never touch a live electrical conductor with your hands. 4. Never move the electrocuted person using wet objects. II. Inspection and on-site rescue1. Move the electrocuted person to a well-ventilated and dry place, and loosen any tight clothing. 2. Check the electrocuted person’s mouth, clear any mucus from it, and remove any dentures if present. 3. Provide on-site first aid: if breathing has stopped, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation; if the heart has stopped beating or is experiencing irregular fibrillation, carry out chest compressions as a form of rescue, and these efforts must not be interrupted without reason. III. Transfer to a medical institution 1. Call 120 to summon an ambulance. 2. When transporting the injured person to the hospital in one’s own vehicle, the victim should lie flat on the vehicle, not curled up ； 3. Transport to the hospital as soon as possible, and continue rescue efforts during transportation.
