I’m seeking advice from experts: what temperature should be maintained after installing heating in the waste acid pipeline to minimize corrosion of the 304 material used in that pipeline?
I don’t know what the concentration is. For the waste acid, try to lower the temperature as much as possible while ensuring no crystallization occurs; heat tracing using circulating water or electric heat tracing could be considered
After checking some information, corrosion of stainless steel at temperatures below 50°C is relatively low; to improve fluidity, temperatures between 30 and 40°C are sufficient
It depends on your manufacturing process – try to minimize costs. For us, 20-25 is generally sufficient at room temperature
For safety, keep the temperature below 40 degrees Celsius; using electric heating is a good way to maintain control. Install electric heating along with insulation, and be sure to add a temperature controller and a leakage protector. I hope it helps you.
Keeping it around 10 degrees is sufficient.
Originally, electric heating was used; due to the low temperatures in winter, its effectiveness was not good. It was later replaced with steam heating, and now that the weather has warmed up, that system has been turned off as the temperature no longer exceeds 40 degrees

The technical requirement is around 255 degrees; after checking some information, it seems that nothing problematic will occur if it’s below 50 degrees
