Guizhou Zhengphospho Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Kim Jong-dae Company, originally had two production lines for producing acid from phosphogypsum; one of these lines has been converted to a sulfur-based acid production line, which has solved the shortage of sulfuric acid in phosphate production and also addressed the issue of steam shortages in the product manufacturing process. The other production line for making acid from phosphogypsum is still in normal operation.
