I’m seeking help from fellow sailors: how is the air intake volume for the main fan in a sulfuric acid production plant made from pyrite calculated? I calculated it before; I’ve forgotten the exact method now.
The fan airflow is calculated based on the unit-hour production rate of the operation, the operating temperature and pressure, as well as the concentration of sulfur dioxide gas entering the conversion section, along with factors such as the system’s conversion rate and absorption rate
