Production process of battery acid and material consumption

I am currently working on a sulfuric acid project abroad, and one of the clients requested battery acid. It took a long time to find what was needed, as there is very little information available online. It is necessary to understand some of the main production processes and the equipment required. Does anyone here have relevant information on this? The operation manual will work too, thank you.

Sulfur is used to produce sulfuric acid; is it necessary to install a purification device? Is the battery acid process an intermittent purging process? Or SO3 absorption? Thank you.
