In purified plate coolers, the acid side is often fouled by acid sludge (filters are also installed at the inlet). Please share ideas from various manufacturers on how to mitigate this fouling.

The heat exchange temperature of the acidic sludge is too high, which causes scaling; adjustments have been made to the process
Just install one sedimentation tank; a plate exchanger with clean liquid is sufficient, no filter is needed
Under the conditions that ensure normal plate cooling processes, it is first necessary to figure out what exactly constitutes the \"acid sludge\" on the acid side; if there is a high amount of sublimed sulfur, then baking adjustments need to be intensified; If there is a lot of dust, enhance electrostatic dust collection, sedimentation, and filtration; carry out regular flushing or alternate flushing methods to keep the packing cooling tower system relatively clean.
After some time, turn the plate over, and this will swap the acid side with the water side. At the same time, proper solid-liquid separation in the primary washer must be ensured
Improve the dust removal efficiency of the first-stage washing equipment
Plate exchangers are used for heat exchange; they are employed in packed towers and should not experience blockages. If blockages do occur, it indicates poor dust removal performance. Additionally, the source of the problem should be investigated – it’s not necessarily dust
Select an appropriate filter mesh pore size, clean the mesh regularly, and clean the plates regularly
