Topsoe wet acid production method: It requires heavy investment, operates stably with efficient heat utilization, and produces no wastewater; however, it fails to meet the existing emission standards. However, it can also be done domestically – as an improved and enhanced version – with much lower investment required. Domestically designed dry acid production process: There are no issues with the technology or equipment, but wastewater is generated as a by-product.
The wet process for acid production requires significant investment, but it has a simple process and few pieces of equipment; in my opinion, its prospects are very good. This process eliminates the problem of solidifying the raw materials used in sulfur-based acid production, as it directly burns the hydrogen sulfide gas as the raw material.
