Which manufacturers use silo pump technology for long-distance PVC transportation? We are currently using Bollong rotary valves, and as part of the capacity expansion upgrades, the PVC powder needs to be transported over a distance of 500 meters. Are there any manufacturers that use silo pumps for this purpose? We would like to get some references from them – what issues might arise?
We can use silo pumps for transportation. We have transported many chemical raw materials, such as soda ash, mirabilite, and desulfurization agents used in the petrochemical industry. Just tell us the density, particle size, and required transportation capacity, and we will handle the rest of the design work for you; the results will be excellent
It would be great to be able to achieve long-distance transportation; at present, it is not known how far PVC powder can be transported.

There are no performance data available for PVC powder. We have handled the transportation of fly ash, with a maximum distance of 1000 meters

There is still a difference: A silo pump, also known as a silo-type pump, is a relatively reliable dense-phase dynamic pressure pneumatic conveying device for transporting powdered materials at high pressures (below about 700 kPa). Roots blowers are more suitable for gas transfer and pressurization systems in low-pressure applications, and can also be used as vacuum pumps, among other things.
What does dense-phase dynamic pressure mean? Is nitrogen used as the medium for pneumatic conveying in silo pumps, while air is used in Roots blowers?
