In the recovery and compression of vinyl chloride gas, the oil used in the compressors tends to deteriorate more quickly, resulting in a shorter service life. Does anyone know the reasons for this and any solutions?
The deterioration of compressor oil is mainly caused by the following reasons: 1. High temperatures during the running-in process of the compressor bearings lead to decomposition. 2. Vinyl chloride gas is acidic and destroys the structure of oils. 3. Vinyl chloride monomer contains water.
