Working conditions for polyurethane spraying: Do not carry out spraying operations when the ambient temperature is below 15°C, the air humidity is above 90%, it is foggy, or there is dew present. The coating should be protected from sunlight. The suitable temperature for spraying operations is between 15°C and 40°C. If necessary, the coating can be heated, but avoid using an open flame for heating it. When performing spraying operations in an environment with high air humidity (above 65%), it is necessary to check the air temperature and the surface of the coating to prevent condensation of the paint. Storage conditions: All materials should be stored in a cool and dry environment at 20°C. Keep away from flames, steam, ammonia, and active hydrogen. After long-term storage, the color of the paint may change due to the formation of precipitates. Before use, the Component B of the coating must be heated to re-liquidify the precipitated substances. At the same time, the paint must be shaken vigorously to liquefy the precipitates and restore a uniform distribution. Allow Component B of the paint to cool to its normal operating temperature before proceeding with the spraying operation. Curing of the material: At a surface temperature of 20°C, polyurethane products require at least 5 days to cure completely. The curing time can be shortened by heating. For example, at a temperature of 65°C, the coating can be cured and put into use within 16 hours. 24 hours after the spraying operation is completed, the coating can withstand light mechanical loads. Higher temperatures can significantly shorten the curing time. Based on the basic rules, for every 10°C increase/decrease in temperature, the curing time is reduced/doubled.
