Dutch synthetic rubber manufacturer Arlanxeo opens its China Asia Innovation Center

On April 15, 2026, the Dutch synthetic rubber manufacturer Arlanxeo announced that its Asia Innovation Center (ICA) in Changzhou, China, had been officially completed and put into operation. The newly established Asian Innovation Center has been further upgraded in terms of scale, team structure, experimental equipment, and technical capabilities. It focuses on mixing and processing, as well as the physical property testing and chemical analysis of polymers, compounded rubber, and vulcanized rubber. It also provides professional support to customers and related projects in areas such as battery application development, prototype creation, and testing. Meanwhile, the center has also established dedicated chemical laboratories to serve Alunzinc’s newly built HNBR factory in Changzhou, as well as to support the research and development needs related to HNBR materials worldwide. The Dutch supplier stated that the new center is an upgraded version of Alarnex’s existing Regional Technology Center (RTC), and is designed to function as an \"innovation hub in Asia.\" It also enhances the company’s global R&D capabilities in order to serve the \"local markets in China and beyond.\" Herman Dikland, Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer at Arlonix, the new Asian Innovation Center, said: “Innovation is the key driver behind Arlonix’s sustainable growth, and China plays a vital role in our global innovation ecosystem.” ” He said that the center provides Alang Xinkē with \"superior conditions\" to further enhance its R&D capabilities and strengthen its market position. Dikland added that the company will work together with Chinese teams to “drive cutting-edge innovation” and bring innovations originating from China to global markets.
