When considering energy-saving measures for the factory and wanting to upgrade the lighting in the facilities, has anyone in the industry done this before? How are LED explosion-proof lights? Is it energy-efficient? Or does anyone have any good experiences with energy saving?
Our company now uses LED explosion-proof lights for all engineering applications, and the results are excellent with significant energy savings.
Explosion-proof – Zhanhao, Feice, and Huarong have all used it, with Zhanhao using it more frequently. These manufacturers provide decent service; if issues are found on-site, they promptly recall and replace the products.
Why was LED chosen at that time? Why wasn’t a metal halide lamp chosen? How do metal halide lamps compare to LED lamps?
We used metal halide lamps a few years ago; overall, they required a higher voltage and had a higher failure rate. With the rise of LEDs, they offer better cost-performance and greater stability, and their prices have dropped significantly in recent years.

Now various manufacturers are introducing LED explosion-proof lights; the electrodeless lights used in our factory work quite well.
1. The efficiency of an electrodeless light source is approximately 75 lm/W; light is emitted from all around the source, and the luminous efficiency of the lamp itself is about 60%. For example, the actual lumen output of an 80W electrodeless lamp is approximately 75 x 80 x 60% = 3600 lm. 2. The efficiency of LED light sources varies depending on the brand, but it generally exceeds 120 lm/W. Light is emitted from only one side of the source, and the luminous efficiency of the lamp is about 80%. For example, the actual lumen output of a 40W LED lamp is approximately 40 x 120 x 80% = 3840 lm. In other words, to achieve the same level of light output, the power required for an LED lamp is about 50% of that required for an electrodeless lamp, making LEDs more energy-efficient; Moreover, mercury vapor lamps are not environmentally friendly, while LEDs are green light sources ;
LED explosion-proof lighting fixtures are likely to represent the future trend; they offer significant energy savings. At present, their high cost is a barrier, but they will surely become more widespread in the future
