Temperature module: which type of thermocouple should be used?

The temperature module uses thermocouples with the PT100 designation (you can find out more about PT100 by searching for it on Taobao).
PT100 is not called a thermocouple; it is called a thermal resistor. Doesn’t the original poster even understand thermocouples and thermal resistors? A thermocouple must be made of two different metals or alloys in order to generate a thermoelectric potential. Metals of the same material cannot generate a thermoelectric potential.

PT 100 is a type of platinum thermistor, not a thermocouple. Was it a mistake made in haste? . . .
