During a major maintenance shutdown of the plant, a group of people opening valves.
Hehe, to carry out such actions in a company of this size – to see such brutal behavior is really bizarre. Such valves are so “flexible and easy to use”; but how can it be ensured that they remain “functional” in the event of an accident? With such force, isn’t there a risk of damaging the valve?

Using an F wrench is fine; the problem lies in the excessive lever arm and the combined force of multiple people – it’s difficult to ensure that the valve isn’t damaged. It’s too dangerous!
Is such a valve a quality issue or a management issue? There are specified requirements for the opening and closing torque of valves; have it repaired!
