Sinopec Zhongke Refining and Chemicals’ new liquefied hydrocarbon terminal completed its first ship unloading operation

On July 2, the new liquefied hydrocarbon terminal at Sinopec Zhongke Refining completed its first unloading operation – 1,317 tons of propane were unloaded via pipelines, marking the commissioning of the second phase of this company’s liquefied hydrocarbon terminal project. The second phase of the liquefied hydrocarbon terminal project involves the construction of a 50,000-ton capacity liquefied hydrocarbon berth, 2 low-temperature propane tanks, 12 spherical tanks, as well as related storage and transportation facilities. The designed annual handling capacity is 2.52 million tons, which is sufficient to meet the demand for receiving liquefied hydrocarbon products such as propane and butane. This enhances the capacity for storing and transporting liquefied hydrocarbons in South China, thereby providing enterprises with a safer and more efficient supply of raw materials for production.
