Regulatory basis: GB50016-2014 (2018 edition), Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings, Article 3.3.5. When offices or rest areas are situated in Class C factories, they must be separated from other areas by fire-resistant partitions with a fire resistance rating of at least 2.50 hours, as well as floors with a fire resistance rating of 1.00 hour. Additionally, there must be at least one separate exit for safety purposes. If doors that connect to each other need to be installed in partition walls, Class B fire doors should be used.
