On October 31, the first pump (32200-P-6103D) at the Inner Mongolia Rongxin Chemical Engineering Project was successfully installed, marking the official entry of the project construction into the equipment installation phase. It is reported that an 80-ton truck crane was used for the split lifting operation; the pump weighs 4.8 tons and the motor weighs 6.9 tons. The 32200-P-6103 unit is equipped with four pumps of the same series, namely A/B/C/D. The successful installation of pump 6103D has provided valuable experience for the subsequent centralized installation of the other three pumps. Before lifting, the project department formulates a specialized lifting plan in a scientific manner, makes thorough arrangements to ensure everything goes smoothly, and carries out the plan after it has been strictly approved. Before starting the work, the technicians provided a detailed safety and technical briefing to all construction workers, clarifying the lifting procedures, risk identification, and control measures, and set up warning barriers. On-site, the operating conditions and stability of the truck crane are carefully checked, and the lifting gear is thoroughly inspected to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition, thereby guaranteeing lifting safety from the source. Once the lifting command was given, the crane slowly raised its hook, and the equipment rose steadily off the ground. Through a series of movements such as rotation, luffing, and positioning, it safely crossed the steel structural frame and was aligned precisely with the foundation plates, allowing for placement in just one lift. Once the equipment was properly in place, the construction workers immediately used a level to level and align the pump body, and completed the initial tightening of the foundation bolts. Next, the project team will summarize the experience gained from the installation of the first unit, optimize the construction process, and carry out the installation of the remaining pumps and associated pipelines in a safe and efficient manner, thereby creating favorable conditions for the project to achieve its intermediate milestones as planned.
