[Haichuan Overseas Engineering] Pile foundation work for Indonesia’s BBP nitric acid and ammonium nitrate project has commenced

Recently, the pile foundation work for the nitric acid and ammonium nitrate project in Indonesia, which is being constructed under the general contract of China Fifth Ring Engineering Co., Ltd. affiliated with the Chinese Society of Chemical Engineering, has commenced. The project has now entered the phase of physical construction, laying the foundation for subsequent tasks such as civil engineering work, pipeline and equipment installation, and electrical and instrumentation installations. At the commencement ceremony, the client gave full recognition to Wuhuan Company’s professional capabilities, commitment to contracts, and efficient execution skills. The BBP nitric acid and ammonium nitrate project in Indonesia is the company’s eighth EPC turnkey project in the Indonesian market. Located in Surabaya, East Java Province, Indonesia, it involves the construction of an ammonium nitrate plant capable of producing 455 tons of nitric acid per day, 580 tons of liquid ammonium nitrate, and 240 tons of solid ammonium nitrate. Additionally, utility systems, auxiliary facilities, and off-site works will also be constructed as part of this project. During the project’s implementation, a large number of jobs will be created locally, helping to alleviate employment pressures and fostering a pool of skilled workers and management professionals in the area. Once completed, the project will drive the development of related local industries. It will also help reduce Indonesia’s reliance on imported ammonium nitrate products, further strengthening Wuhuan Company’s competitive position in the international fertilizer engineering market.
