I’m seeking advice from the teachers: For our 100-cubic-meter LPG storage tank, the first flange is supposed to be of 25-kilogram grade, but some colleagues say it should be 40-kilogram grade. Question: What is the standard code for determining the pressure rating of LPG tank flanges? Thank you!
These days, PN25 is generally specified; manufacturers used to provide PN40 instead. Take a look for yourself.
Choose a PN420 class2500 one!

Hello up there! Generally, 25 KG/CM2 is used in calculations, but the latest requirements specify valves with a pressure rating of 4 MPa. So it’s unclear whether the flanges of the storage tank should also be set at 40 KG/CM2.
