Safety design of natural gas supply units

I would like to ask: what standard requirements should be followed and met when installing a natural gas supply unit in a safe area (a location with many ordinary mechanical devices)? (I’ve seen the product’s casing; it’s made very thick!) ）
Is the gas supply unit a storage tank or a pipeline? Are there any moving equipment?
