On January 12, 2024, the Water Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Transport held a preliminary design review meeting for the dock project associated with the CCCC Yingkou LNG receiving station in Yingkou. Leaders, representatives from relevant organizations such as the Liaoning Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Transport, the Liaoning Maritime Safety Administration, the municipal development and reform commissions, the municipal departments of transport, the Yingkou Maritime Safety Administration, the municipal bureaus of natural resources and planning, the municipal ecological environment bureau, the Management Committee of Xianrendao Development Zone, the Yingkou Port Pilot Station, as well as those involved in project construction, design, and consulting, attended the meeting. Invited experts were also present. The experts attending the meeting and representatives from various departments listened to detailed reports presented by the project design unit on the preliminary design results of the project, as well as those provided by the review unit regarding the consultation and review process for the preliminary design. They examined the preliminary design documents and offered guiding suggestions. After careful discussion by the experts and representatives present on key issues such as the feasibility, safety, and economic viability of the preliminary design, it was unanimously agreed that the preliminary design for the terminal project of CCCC Yingkou LNG Company exhibits excellent performance in terms of overall layout and functional zoning. The preliminary design for the terminal associated with the CCCC Yingkou LNG receiving station project was approved.
