How to measure the concentration of hydrofluoric acid in stainless steel pickling waste liquid in the laboratory

The fluorine-containing acid solution used for stainless steel pickling has a high concentration; volumetric titration should be employed for measurement, but this method yields the total acid value. Note that this type of sample cannot be sampled using glass bottles, nor can titration tests be conducted in glass containers. The sample titrated to the endpoint is appropriately diluted, and the fluoride content can be measured using ion chromatography, fluoride-selective electrodes, or colorimetry; subsequently, the proportion of hydrofluoric acid in the mixed acid can be calculated.
