Regarding whether a mass flow meter can reverse the flow of the medium.

For the carbon tetrafluoride mass flow meter in my MTBE unit, the flow of the medium is moving in the opposite direction due to process-related issues. The original flow rate was around 40 t/h, while currently it is around 15 t/h. It appears to be a Coriolis flow meter; the primary gauge shows 0, but the actual flow rate is around 15 t/h. Once the repairs are completed, this pipeline needs to be put back into use – it’s not clear whether it will be able to display the correct values.
It shouldn’t be a big problem, I remember that calibrating mass flow meters is quite troublesome~~~
The flow rate can be indicated after operation starts; it just needs to have the instrument calibrated again. Thank you
