(1) The fixed hot work area should be located upwind or to the side of flammable and explosive areas, at the point where such occurrences occur least frequently throughout the year； (2) The distance from flammable and explosive workshops, warehouses, tank areas, equipment, installations, manholes, drainage ditches, water seal wells, etc. should be no less than 30 m, and it shall meet the fire separation requirements specified in relevant codes ； (3) Fixed hot work areas in the room area should be separated from other sections by solid firewalls; doors and windows should open outward, and pathways must remain unobstructed ； (4) During normal venting or in the event of an accident, it must be ensured that combustible gases do not spread into areas where welding or heating is carried out; under any weather conditions, the concentration of combustible gases and vapors in such areas must be less than 20% of the lower explosive limit ； (5) No combustible materials or other debris are allowed to be stored in the designated hot work area, and a sufficient amount of fire extinguishing equipment must be provided ； (6) The designated hot work area shall be equipped with prominent and clear signs. Its sign should include the words “Designated Hot Work Area” ； Area of the hot work zone (length X width) ； Flame-resistant tools, types ； Fire safety responsible person ； Fire safety measures and precautions ； The name, quantity, and other details of the fire extinguishing equipment. In addition to the above conditions, in practical work it is also necessary to pay attention to the difference between designated fire areas and areas where fires are used on a regular basis. In a chemical production facility where an open-flame heater is required due to the manufacturing process, the area surrounding it is not considered a fixed hot work zone, but can be designated as an area for continuous hot work.

The area where welding is to be carried out must have passed flammable gas testing. 3. The acetylene and oxygen cylinders should be placed 10 meters away from the site where welding is carried out, with a distance of at least 5 meters between the two cylinders. 4. If there are manholes in the area where welding is to take place, they should be covered with fire-resistant cloth. 5. In areas where welding is carried out, leaks must be sealed off using blind plates, and work can proceed only after gas detection shows no issues. 6. There must be a person assigned to monitor the welding process
