On September 27, Shida Shenghua (Quanzhou) Co., Ltd. held a completion ceremony for the 440,000 tons per year new energy materials project (Phase I) at the construction site. Leaders from Hui’an County, leaders of the Quanzhou-Hui’an Industrial Park, leaders of Quanzhou Petrochemical, and representatives from various participating units attended the ceremony. The 440,000 tons per year new energy materials project (Phase I) of Shida Shenghua (Quanzhou) Co., Ltd. includes four units – an ethylene carbonate (EC) production unit, a dimethyl carbonate production unit (comprising Unit 1 and Unit 2), and carbon dioxide recovery units – along with associated facilities. Among these, the Quanzhou Project Department of the company undertook the construction of the ethylene carbonate (EC) plant. Responding to the call for **new energy**, and upholding the petroleum spirit, its workers demonstrated determination, strength, and perseverance in overcoming all difficulties, including the severe pandemic and scorching heat. The construction of dimethyl carbonate plants (Plant 1 and Plant 2) as well as carbon dioxide recovery systems is highly challenging. Faced with tight deadlines and large volumes of work, all employees in the project team worked together, pooling their wisdom and effort to complete each of these difficult construction tasks on time, to the required quality standards, and in the required quantities. For the process pipelines of this project, stainless steel pipes are used for everything other than water, gas, and air. Given the high requirements for pipeline welding, the first-time inspection pass rate reached 99.26%, earning high praise from both the owner and the supervisor. In addition, the project team has received numerous construction honor medals awarded by the owner, highlighting the innovative spirit and tenacious determination of the Liujian \"Iron Army\".
