Dehydrogenation of isobutane to isobutylene: equipment includes reactors, heating furnaces, compressors, and mechanical pumps.
This raw material is usually MTBE, and in terms of purity, it is over 99.5%. The equipment is basically the same in the chemical industry: heat transfer oil furnaces, reactors, compressors, water wash towers, drying towers, light-end removal towers, and weight removal towers
Isobutylene is produced through the isomerization of butene, as well as via the dehydrogenation of butane. Additionally, isobutylene is present in the C4 components within catalytic cracking units. It can also be obtained by the cracking of tert-butanol or MTBE
