【Global new ethylene production capacity this year will reach a record of 14.6 million tons, with China accounting for more than half of it】 According to a report by Cailian News on February 21, **data recently released by BNEF shows that by 2026, the world’s net ethylene production capacity will be 14.6 million tons, which is roughly twice the average annual increase over the previous five years, marking the highest annual growth rate on record. Among them, China will account for 56% of the global net increase in ethylene production capacity by 2026, becoming the key factor in this wave of expansion.
