Its purpose is to mix the lubricant material with a certain amount of white clay under specific temperature and time conditions, in order to treat lubricant materials that have been refined using solvents or dewaxed through solvents. This process removes undesirable components such as small amounts of gums, asphaltenes, naphthenic acids, sulfonic acids, oxygen-, nitrogen-, and sulfur-containing compounds, as well as mechanical impurities, through physical adsorption. Afterward, the white clay is separated from the oil, resulting in high-quality lubricant base oil. White clay that has been used and replaced is waste white clay.
Refined waste material from kaolin supplementation
