Recently, the domestication project of the DCS (Distributed Computer Control System) at Sino-Korean Petrochemical was recognized as a model project for intelligent transformation in Wuhan. This project provides valuable insights for the localization of core equipment in large-scale refining facilities, enabling refineries to achieve independent control over the key control systems of multiple units. The four units at Sino-Korea Petrochemical, namely Unit 1 for hydrogenation, reforming hydrogenation, Unit 1 for coking, and polypropylene, originally used imported control systems. To improve the reliability of the DCS and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the facilities, Sino-Korea Petrochemical carried out domestication upgrades on these 4 production units in 2020. The use of Zhejiang Zhongkong DCS-700 series products significantly enhances the reliability of the power supply system structure, providing a solid foundation for Sino-Korea Petrochemical to carry out preventive equipment maintenance and ensure process stability during production operations.
