As the title suggests, is xylene a flammable liquid or a liquefied hydrocarbon? The capacity of each tank in the xylene storage area is 120 m3; can it be classified as a fine chemical industry?

Liquid is the state in which it exists under normal conditions. Liquefaction is the process of transforming from another state of existence into a liquid state. Xylene is a petroleum product or chemical substance that can be used as a raw material for certain chemicals. However, the process used to produce xylene does not fall under the category of fine chemical manufacturing; xylene is considered a bulk chemical or industrial raw material.
Another state corresponding to liquefied hydrocarbons is gaseous hydrocarbons. Substances that are in a gaseous state at normal temperatures must be liquefied in order to become liquid; hence they are called liquefied hydrocarbons. Liquids, on the other hand, remain in a liquid state at normal temperatures without any need for treatment. Xylene is a liquid at room temperature, so no liquefaction process is required.
