Recently, Nanyang Energy Chemicals completed the construction and commissioning of China’s first 10,000-ton per year facility for producing high-purity phase change waxes. To date, 50 tons of such high-purity phase change wax products have been manufactured, and their quality meets the standards of similar foreign products, thereby breaking the foreign monopoly on this type of product. The high-purity phase change wax production facility has an annual output capacity of 17,000 tons. It is the first facility of this type in China with a capacity of 10,000 tons, and it represents another high-end installation built and put into operation by the company after its high-melting-point phase change wax facility. High-purity phase-change wax is a premium specialty wax product developed by the company, utilizing the phase-change latent heat properties of ordinary paraffin, as well as its environmental friendliness and biological safety. Compared to ordinary paraffin, it has a higher purity and higher heat capacity; it is safe and environmentally friendly, and enables automatic absorption and release of energy, making it a new type of green energy storage product. Its performance meets the quality standards of similar foreign products, making it fully capable of serving as a substitute for imported ones. High-purity phase-change wax can be widely used in industries such as new energy, electronics and electrical equipment, building materials, textiles, as well as in industrial fields with high temperature requirements and other special applications.
