6 billion yuan! Lianhong Gerun’s 200,000-ton EVA capacity! On the morning of February 14, a meeting was held to advance the construction of key projects for the high-quality development of Tengzhou City in 2023. A total of 24 projects were launched during this event: 5 in the field of high-end equipment, 4 each in the fields of high-end chemicals and new energy, 3 each in the areas of healthcare and modern efficient agriculture, and 5 in areas related to people’s well-being. The total investment for these projects amounts to 37.23 billion yuan. Among them, the 200,000 tons per year EVA and 300,000 tons per year PO production facility project by Lianhong Gerun is still on the list. This project is invested in and constructed by Lianhong Gerun (Shandong) New Materials Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 6 billion yuan, and an annual investment plan of 1 billion yuan. Once operational, it is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 5.5 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 860 million yuan, while providing employment for over 270 people. The project covers an area of over 800 mu, and includes the construction of a new plant for producing 200,000 tons per year of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), as well as a plant for producing 300,000 tons per year of propylene oxide (PO), along with supporting utility systems and auxiliary production facilities. The project is located in the Lunan High-Tech Chemical Industrial Park.
